Harvey Nash is looking for an IT Supporter for a 7 + month project in Switzerland.
The role is for a candidate who is responsible for first and second level support and for ownership of tickets from opening to the point at which they are closed.
You are responsible for Servicing of all designated user request channels according to defined schedules Incident management from initial contact through ticketing, user interactions and fixes to ticket closure Correct documentation and correct 'incident passover' to other Service Desk teams and solver groups Escalations according to escalation policy On site visits as necessaryRequirements
A demonstrable background and understanding of IT with good technical skills. (No experience is necessary provided a candidate can show his deep interest in IT) A demonstrable, evidence based, interest in helping There is a very strong preference for a science background: Local further education in Science (qualification normally obtained at around the age of 20/21). Eg BSc or a minimum of three years in a research (preferably Pharma) environment Business German and English written and spoken Are you available immediately, have experience working within a Life Science company?
