Support Analyst (ITIL & Splunk) Switzerland
Datamatics is looking for Support Analyst who has experience in support for various tools supporting the ITIL processes. This includes ie IBM Netcool as the component monitoring, Service Now as our IPM, request fulfilment, knowledge etc. tool
Role Description
- L2 technical and business support for various ITIL supporting tools. This particular support role covers the support of the application "Splunk" from a technical as well as business support point of view.
- Managing interface to our L3 support by addressing issues, as keeping track of these end2end issues until they are solved
- Lead mini projects to actually onboard application to use Splunk as the centralized logging infrastructure
- Participation in the project to actually migrate from the current syslog engine solution to "Splunk". The ideal candidate is actually responsible for planning and executing the technical migration onto the new solution
- Providing documentation and training to other L2 support specialists and to our EndUsers.
Work experience required:
- Good knowledge of IT - technologies - methods, working tools & solutions
- At least 2 years of experience in supporting the application Splunk
- Being able to troubleshoot the application Splunk from a L2 perspective
- Very good basic technical and architectural understanding
- Is able to understand and read basic Shell and Perl scripts
