For our banking client in Zurich, we are seeking a Business Analyst

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months (+ extensions)

Location: Zurich

About the Role...

  • A responsible position in a management consulting/program delivery environment with a broad scope of challenging bank-wide and global project, from initial concept to implementation scope of challenging bank-wide and global projects, from initial concept to implementation.
  • Opportunity to lead the analysis, problem solving and implementation activities of business and IT projects with priority on strategy development, regulatory compliance, organisational optimisation and efficiency improvements
  • Cross-divisional projects(from front business to shared service incl. IT_ on Senior Management level
  • Broad insight into the global banking business of our client
  • Highly motivated and experienced team with an excellent reputation in a challenging working environment

The ideal Candidate...

  • Excellent university degree (preferably in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or other quantitative discipline); graduate degree/MBA advantageous
  • Outstanding analytical/numerical skills, creativity and persistency
  • Broad project management know-how (eg in areas like regulatory compliance, operational excellence/six sigma, post merger integration, change management, organisational design, business strategy) with relevant professional experience of 5-10 years in a comparable position within the management consulting or financial services industry
  • Banking and economic business know-howl familiarity with banking operations and It-related themes an advantage
  • Excellent command of MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn fast and add value in a short time frame; independent working style
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and highly client oriented attitude
  • Constructive approach to your work and to a feedback culture combined with the drive to continually develop yourself and your working environment
  • Experience and confidence in dealing with all levels of management
  • An open, communicative personality with a very good command of written and spoken English, German an advantage
