System Engineer; HPC environments; SLURM; scientific applications; Linux: RedHat, CentOS
Responsibilities/Requirements:
The task will be to extend several medium sized HPC environments in U.S.A. and Switzerland
SLURM Requirements:
Thorrough knowledge with SLURM for the design and implementation of a hetrogeneous and distributed SLURM environemnt and the migration of scientific applications from bioinformatics, chemistry and statistics to SLURM
Thorrough knowledge in Linux: RedHat 5, RedHat 6, CentOS 6, CentOS 7, Spacewalk, Satellite and kickstart
Experience with configuration management: puppet preferred
Experience with the profiling and optimization of scientific HPC applications
Experience with the management of parallel file systems
