For our client we are currently looking for a Sharepoint Administrator for a temporary project assignment in Basel, Switzerland.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 10MM++

Job Purpose:

Administration of production, test and development 64-bit SharePoint 2010 and 2013 environments. Job role would include SharePoint administration, maintenance & ongoing day-to-day operations support including installation, configuration, upgrade, migration, patching, troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup and recovery. This position will be supporting NIBR SharePoint sites working along with Middleware team.

Your tasks:

  • Installation, configuration and documentation of SharePoint farm environment
  • Administration of SharePoint web applications, site collections, sites, & managed paths
  • Experience with FAST Search for SharePoint Installation & Administration
  • Farm backup and restore/recovery
  • Administration of fault tolerant server farms with multiple tiers
  • Administration of load balanced environment of high availability farms
  • Administration and configuration of SharePoint services including but not limited to Shared service providers, BDC/BCS, Excel Services, Visio Services, Access Services and Office Web Apps
  • Design & Documentation of Architecture/Capacity Planning
  • Installation, configuration and administration of IIS 6 and IIS 7
  • Administration of 64-bit Windows Server
  • Supports NIBR IT and Automation Services in successfully achieving its departmental goals
  • Supports project delivery on time and to quality
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Working in cross-functional and Global project teams

Desirable experience in:

  • SQL Reporting Services
  • 3rd Party Tools: DocAve, Nintex, Quest Web Parts, MetaLogix
  • F5 Network load balancing
  • SCOM
  • DR/BCP
  • FAST ESP/FAST for SharePoint 2010
  • SharePoint & Oracle Access Management Integration
  • Single Sign On

Your experience/skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, computer science, engineering or mathematics
  • At least 5 years experience in administration of large highly available 64-bit production SharePoint 2010 environment and SharePoint Server 2013
  • Good Power Shell Scripting skills for SharePoint
  • Experience with configuring Remote BLOB storage
  • Experience with InfoPath Forms and SharePoint Designer
  • Experience with Windows Powershell
  • Experience with Claims Authentication and Extranet
  • Hands-on Experience with 64-bit SQL Server and use of SQL Management Studio
  • Experience with finding Performance Bottlenecks & Troubleshooting in IIS and Windows Servers
  • Familiarity with Change management Controls
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industries
