Job Description:

Define, implement and sustain business processes to ensure standardised and consistent master data across the functions in Local and Global organizations.

Establish and sustain a data culture, based around key systems (ie SAP, BI, etc) and enable business management to drive business improvement (through business reports based on clear data integrity.)

Define, implement and sustain business processes and systems in support of improving supply chain Planning across the Division.

Define, implement and sustain business processes to ensure standardized and consistent Planning procedures across the functions in Local and Global organizations

Govern and require IT changes to enable and facilitate process execution. Implement the procedures at all relevant Vaccines Locations ensuring that all the relevant aspects are covered: training, change management and documentation, in alignment with GxP rules, and SOX policies

Major Accountabilities:

This is a global role to improve processes and systems (focus is ERP SAP), ensure standards procedures and sustainability. It requires developing and maintaining high knowhow among the user community through BPE (Business Process Expert) community that are the vehicle to improve capability of user community. It also requires project management capability to run initiatives as well monitoring capability and organization to ensure adherence to procedures and their measurement.

Key partners are: IT team (ERP), Business Process Owners, BPE (Business process experts)

Global data policy ownership & development for Vaccines

Ensure standardised procedures at all relevant Vaccines locations with consistent implementation with reference to MSOPs and other global documentation.

Ensure proper alignment between Global and Local processes and procedures including relevant documentation (MSOP versus Local SOP)

Chairing & coordinating Data Governance Committee meetings, BPE (Business process experts and/or data controllers)

Owner and responsible of global master data field catalogue and rules for populating master data.

SAP product hierarchy structure, on-going maintenance of structure to align with other systems & needs. eg Financial outlook tool, RFC, budgeting, S&OP.

Process owner for relevant data MSOPs, developer & owner of new MSOPs. Reviewer and approver of local SOP related.

Provide data management reports on an agreed frequency.

Manage data accuracy cycle counting at all relevant locations with consistent application to MSOPs and other global documentation.

Develop Master Data Management capabilities

Develop and/or improve transparent systems and tools to improve transparency on Supply Chain performance indicators with focus on data quality, general sap usage and planning process.

Owner of suite of business information reports, ensuring reports structures and availability. Facilitate business users to create and sustain business-specific variants of SAP reports.

Key driver in sustaining supply chain business systems management. As part of Standards and Systems team, participate in supporting SAP-related business change/implementation projects

Global Planning governance for Process and IT improvements, sustainability implementation and maintenance, Education and Training for planners community and Business process experts (BPE), Ownership of the related documentation ( MSOP, SOP; Work instruction etc)

The role provides functional leadership and expertise to Supply Chain Planning Processes and SAP, to ensure that all relevant associates are enabled and competent to run the required planning processes across the business. It is expected that continuous improvement will be applied to SAP and our planning processes

The role provides staff education: training concept, material and programme preparation and execution. The role is crucial in building and improving the Business Process Expert community capability. It includes the development and maintenance of training curriculum and plan per role or group of roles

This role is responsible to ensure the full roll out and governance with regards product Supply Tracker tool including R&R definition

This role is responsible for governance, definition, quality & accuracy of parameters and attributes relevant for planning.

The role is a key member of the Supply Chain Standards & Systems (SC Ops) and is expected to play a full part in driving standardization and improvements across the plants, IT and process.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Data Accuracy for GXP and Business Critical attributes: 90% and reported on time
  • Data Accuracy for non GXP attributes: minimum 70%
  • Business reports and KPIs issued and available in systems as required.
  • Maintenance of all master data and planning procedures
  • BPE community platform to govern changes and develop knowhow
  • IT Governance platform for sap changes
  • All the relevant Global Procedures eg SOP updated and aligned with changed processes
  • Maintain business training plan schedule
  • Training materials updated and aligned with changed processes and SAP functionalities
  • Deliver projects to agreed schedule
  • Reduce number of IT tickets to do with Planning process issues with SAP

Requirements:

Education (minimum/desirable):

  • A degree in Scientific/Engineering or Commercial discipline; if Commercial then additional industrial experience of supply chain management.

Languages

  • English (fluent)

Relevant Experiences

  • Strong knowledge of SAP Supply Chain Master Data and SAP PP module (at least 3 years)
  • Strong supply chain/manufacturing background, pharmaceuticals/biologics/fine chemicals preferred (at least 3 years' experience)
  • Authoring skills, based on business process analysis and developing business requirements.
  • Confident relationship builder and influencer, with view to enabling awareness and training across multiple cultures (manufacturing/commercial/functional, cross-geographic, all levels of management)
  • Logical and analytical thinking.
  • Able to work in a small focussed team but deliver across all business areas.
  • SAP experience
  • Strong leadership standards
