Java Solution Architect
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Java Solution Architect. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Delivers all necessary design and specification documents (eg System Context Diagram, System Application Document, Program Specification, etc.) for the offshore partner for any requirements
- Implementation of a 3rd party product
- Responsible for the technical analysis, realization and implementation of requirements
- Architectural decisions in sync with the architect counterparts of the surrounding or complementary systems (eg Java/Host), as well the central architecture
- Check and improve code quality of the delivered software; this includes the automation of the product delivery including automated build, tests, code checks etc., as well as defining standards, code models
- Support the IT-Project leader with timeline, cost and status information for the project schedule
- Design and coordination of work packages
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Strong working experience with the following technologies:
- Java/J2EE Technologies (pref. Weblogic)
- Database Technologies (pref. Oracle)
- Web-technologies (Webservices, XML, HTML, etc)
- Development skills
- OO, UML
- MQ
- Unix/Linux
- Experience in implementing a 3rd party product
- Experience in Securities Operations
