Senior Software Integration Engineer
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Senior Software Integration Engineer. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Integrate the vendor based product seamlessly into a complex IT infrastructure
- Implement automation capabilities to support automated installations and upgrades
- Work with an agile team of senior software engineers
- Translate business requirements (functional and non-functional) into IT specifications and architectural designs
- Manage the solution hardware inventory
- Work closely with IT architects and other IT development teams within the organisation to design solid application interfaces
- Coordinate the software development and testing with external vendors, acting as a key contact for any questions or issues which may arise
- Quality check the vendor deliverables, including test case creation, test case review, design review, code review, test execution etc.
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Successful track record of vendor based software integration projects
- Proven expert knowledge of vendor software packaging for UNIX and Linux type OS
- Proven expert knowledge of automating distributed installations using industry standard tools
- Proven expert knowledge of key enterprise integration requirements (security, automation, segregation of duties, monitoring )
- Experience in technical vendor management (issue handling, collaborative solution elaboration, patch/test cycles handling)
- Understanding of software development, configuration management, source code management, and software release processes
- Experience with Agile development methodology and tools
- Experience with Actimize Software would be a big plus
- Business knowledge in the area of Anti Money Laundering would be a big plus
