Oracle Database Administrator in Production Environment (2437)

Production Services Switzerland is part of a global organization (GSO) and provides 1st level support for multiple technologies (Windows, Unix/Linux, Oracle and MS-SQL) on a 24/7 basis for systems located in Switzerland.

Main duties of the role include:

  • 24/7 Shift Work
  • Incident Management (1st Level Support for central technical infrastructure)
  • Change Management (mainly SW-Deployments & script execution)
  • Operational Requests (Service Requests, User-/Account Management)

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A degree in IT or several years IT experience
  • Ideally more than 1 years experience with Oracle Database Administration.
  • We will also consider Oracle PL/SQL Developers with +2 years experience.
  • Ready/willing to learn additional technologies. You will also get trained on SQL Server and UNIX.
  • Ready/willing to work in 24/7 shifts
  • Fluent English oral/written is mandatory
  • Motivated & innovative, can-do attitude
  • Team Player
  • Good MS Office skills is an advantage
  • Scripting knowledge (VBS, VBA, C-Sharp) is an advantage
