Edelway SA is a Swiss IT Services Company. Our global Banking client based in Zürich, Switzerland, is currently looking for Java Engineers to join them on a long term basis. The candidate will design and implement a new functionality for Client Tax Reporting.
THE ROLE
*Development of Java business logic components with EJB, JPA, JMS
*Development of Java User Interfaces with JSF
*Prepare and execute unit and system tests
*Technical documentation of all delivered artifacts
*Analysis and fixing of defects
*Create solution proposals and estimations
YOUR PROFILE
*At least 6 years hands-on experience in development of web applications with Java
*Good knowledge of EJB 3.x, JSF 2.x, JMS, JPA, JUnit, SQL, XML, Web-Services
*Knowledge of design patterns (may be with certification)
*Experience with agile and test driven development
*Experience with Eclipse IDE, SVN
*Experience with Oracle DB, Linux/Unix Shell, Corba, Maven, Ant, Weblogic
*German (native/fluent) and English
*Experience with agile methodologies (scrum/iterative, JIRA, stories)
*Excellent analytical and communication skills
*Effective and solution oriented
*Team player
