On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Financial Risk Manager to support the work to analyze and communicate market, counterparty and liquidity risks in client portfolios.
You report to the Head of Corporate Services for this exciting contract role in Zurich.

As a Risk Manager you will have an important role in the development of policy on financial risks in client portfolios are run. You help with the practical implementation of the risk framework and analysing the financial risks taken and communicates this. In this role, you consult a lot with Front Office and support departments. Although the main task of the risk manager is to identify, measure, monitor and report on the different risk categories, the department is regularly used during risk-related issues within the organization.
You will be supported by the risk management department.
We are looking for:
- Academic training in a financial or quantitative direction
- Knowledge of and affinity with financial instruments and quantitative methods
- Extensive work experience (3 to 8 years) in a function within Risk and Portfolio Management
- Strong analytical skills
- Accurate
- Driven and flexible team player
- Ideally experience with Charles River Dimension (CRD) and MSCI Barra Aegis
