Essbase and SQL Server DBA - Dynamic Forecasts - Switzerland
Our client is a major international organisation based in Lausanne Switzerland and in support of their database team, we are looking for a SQL Server and Essbase DBA.
You will provide Essbase and SQL Server (2005, 2008R2 and beyond) database expertise ensuring the delivery, availability and performance for Dynamic Forecasts worldwide.
You responsibilities will cover:
Installation and configuration or Essbase.
Monitoring and performance troubleshooting and managing the delivery process regarding Essbase components for current architecture.
Installation of SQL Server 2008R2 and 2012 on standalone or clustered Servers.
Management of connections to database Servers as well as users and privileges.
You will ensure the availability and performance by proactive monitoring of databases and tuning on demand as well as planning the deployment of Essbase and SQL Server Service Packs and hot fixes world-wide.
Experience with Essbase and Microsoft SQL Server (Data Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services) with knowledge of Oracle an advantage.
