BdU Consulting AG provides various services in the IT sector in cooperation with large and established companies. For the ongoing support of our customers, we are looking for a Project Manager (m/w) 50 – 100% for a strategy related Business & IT implementation project in Zurich.Tasks:
• set-up adequate project management processes in alignment with bank’s PM regulation and the governance
• manage the project effectively within the given constraints re time, cost and scope
• closely cooperate with the colleagues from business and the Business Analyst to develop a Proof of Concept
• closely cooperate with all involved IT functions to develop the tactical BI Operating Model
• support the project streams in all project matters and ensure coordination of the activities
• pro-actively manage dependencies to other projects/programmes
• manage stakeholder expectations at all levels
• closely manage vendors
Project goals:
• Carve out the concrete scope, goals and business value which to the company shall achieve by the implementation of a BI Strategy
• Design a forward looking perspective on how to deliver and consume information and thus generating information advantage
• Develop a BI Strategy including a BI Target Operating Model and a Roadmap for the implementation
Requirements:
• Focus is on project management and people skills – particularly planning & tracking, communication & coordination, stakeholder - and vendor management.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the Business Intelligence topic. Considerable experience with IT-projects in the financial sector and vendor selection amongst global players.
• Solid understanding of the typical driving forces in IT and the (private banking) Business and the ability to balance what is wanted with what can realistically be delivered in a way that satisfies the most critical needs of both sides.
• In depth skills in business analysis is not required.
• Experience in a private banking environment preferable
