Randstad IT Professionals is actively looking for a Web Developer for one of our major clients, a global bank, headquartered in Zurich.
In this role will support Web Entry Server Team (Project Consulting, Engineering/Operations, Application Integration)
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
An interesting role in the Platform Integration area. The integration team is responsible to deliver Apache/IIS and Oracle WebLogic platform solutions into the IT infrastructure, shaping IT processes, tools and automation.
- Adaptation/implementation of the Apache/IIS and Oracle WebLogic platform to drive its standardization and integration into surrounding eco-systems
- Support the implementation of components/configuration items and consult projects, engineering and operations
- Integrate and adopt centrally engineered tools and processes to fulfil jurisdictions CH standards
- SME on Apache/IIS and/or Oracle WebLogic process design and implementation
- Enforce standardization within Operations aligned with global solutions
- Participate in IT infrastructure project design to support internal customer and operation needs
- Supports Operation teams in incidents and taskforces
- A position in an international work environment
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The individual brings a commercial mind set to the role and demonstrates a strong sense of personal accountability in providing end-to-end delivery. The person has a track record in bringing efficiency in day-to-day operations. The individual has excellent ability to work collaboratively across cultures in a global environment.
- Higher or further education in IT
- Minimum 9 years experience in Apache Web-Servers or IIS, Oracle WebLogic Application Server (10.x/12.x), Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE)
- A good understanding for processes and tools in the application integration area
- Configuring SSL, generating x509 Certificates, Keytool, 2 way SSL, Security Realm Configuration, Configuring Roles and Policies.
- Understanding client code including EJB2/3, JSP, Servlets, struts
- Strong ability to analyse JDBC, JMS, security, performance issues
- Knowledge with complex network environments (Firewall, Load Balancer)
- Excellent skills in the Unix area (Solaris, Linux) and its Scripting languages (Perl/Shell-Scripting/SED/AWK/ and windows power-Shell)
- The ability to question existing IT processes and to shape them
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
