For a project at our insurance client site in Zurich, we are looking for a skilledSenior Business Application Supporter (2166)
Main function of the job
To become a subject matter expert for our clients underwriting business applications (CBI / GLEAM / LPTE).
This will enable you to resolve user queries, complete Production testing and manage administration tasks for the application.
In addition, support should be provided for co-ordination and training administrative tasks in relation to all applications whilst also gathering new business requirements and developing them for submission for technical development.
This role requires a combination of support and business analysis.
Main Accountabilities
Become an expert on the required applications
Provide technical support to users – troubleshooting and providing fixes / solutions where required
Maintain the administrative requirements of the application which include (but are not exhaustive):
- New user access
- Small business change requests
- Basic performance testing
- Application testing
Provide training (application and logistical) and project co-ordination support to include (but are not exhaustive):
- Minutes of meetings
- Preparation of presentations
- Co-ordination of key tasks
- Management of logistical requirements such as arranging meetings, training sessions, training logistics
Understand business needs and identify opportunities for application development
Develop those opportunities into new requirements to be submitted for technical development & delivery
Maintain training material and documentation.
Your qualifications:
Insurance underwriting knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
Experience in preparing presentations and project administration would be advantageous
Business analysis skills are essential
Fluent in written & Spoken English
This role is a contract to perm employment.
