Profile
Must have:
- Excellent understanding of VMware vSphere technologies and server automation concepts
- Experience in designing enterprise level virtualization solutions for a global organization
- Proficiency in Scripting with Linux Shell
- Excellent Communications skills
- Fluent English mandatory (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated
Important to have:
- Experience in writing code (VMware API and SDK)
- Expert in writing codes such as Windows Services and GUI using .NET languages (eg C#)
- Broad understanding of IT architecture and infrastructure
- Experience designing scalable multi-location virtual infrastructure platforms
- Working knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux
- Good understanding of SAN/NAS technologies and their integration with virtualization platforms
- Good understanding of Networking technologies and their integration with virtualization platforms
- Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment while effectively prioritizing tasks
General:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Ability to design, coordinate, plan, and manage complex technical solutions
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery techniques
- Knowledge of systems management tool concepts
- Basic project management skills & experience
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Ability to document engineering results and recommendations for peer groups as well as senior management
- More than 5 years' experience in a large Data Center Environment and related technologies
Contract Details
- Start: ASAP
- Contract duration: 6 months
- Location: Zurich
- Daily rate all inclusive: ca. 790 CHF
