For a global project with start date in July at our insurance client site in Zurich, we are looking for a skilledSenior Insurance Business Analyst - Data Improvement w/ BI skills (2090)
In this project, our client's aim is to define and standardize different actuarial processes on a global level. Current state is the initial phase of the project.
On a general level, you are an expert in Business Intelligence / Analytics (ETL, Database, reporting), Data processing and, if possible, Actuarial Reserving. In more detail, the following are the main tasks and deliverables:
Assume BA lead function within the Data Improvement Work Stream
Define a central data catalogue
Define local stats requirements for different countries and merge them into the data catalogue
Define requirements for regional Data Warehouses
Requirement Elicitation Document (author)
Functional / Non-Functional requirements document (author)
High Level Solution Design (support, co-author)
Detailed Solution Design (support, co-author)
Country GAP Analyses Preparation/Toolkit (support)
Your qualifications:
You are a self starter, innovative and proactive person with extensive experience in insurance business analysis
Therefore you have a broad as well as detailed understanding of Insurance Business and Business Intelligence/Analytics (concept, typical problems/challenges..)
You have excellent communication skills and experience in dealing with senior/executive staff
Fluency in English is mandatory for this role. German, Spanish and/or Portuguese would be an asset
You bring the needed patience for a global sized project but are nevertheless persistent for important matters
Important: This role requires travel to European and overseas locations. You should be comfortable in an international context and open to engage international project partners, both over the phone and in person.
