Senior Developer: Market Risk IT (2064)

The Market Risk Technology team is looking for a Senior Core Java developer who can enhance the calculation engine to satisfy several regulatory driven commitments.

Tasks
- The candidate will work on cutting edge technologies like Grid Computing and Distributed Data Caching and mentored on Market Risk Domain.
- The candidate will participate in the design discussions and work on enhancing various Market Risk Analytics modules.

We are looking for a candidate who is willing to learn on the Job, pro-active and work with a development team distributed across regions.
We are willing to consider junior programmers as long as they can demonstrate their understanding of core java concepts, data structures and good coding skills.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Server-side Application development
- Strong core Java skills including Multi-threading, Collections API, JDBC
- Prior Knowledge of Performance tuning Data intensive applications
- Knowledge of Java profiling tools like JProbe
- Oracle database background
- Strong Analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Proactive and Strong desire to learn new technologies

Ideally you have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering and a financial domain background.
