On behalf of my client, ranked a world-leader in their field, we are searching for a Senior Java Developer (Web Applications, Web Services) to start a new 4 month long contract. The position is based in Zurich, Switzerland and is for an ASAP start. The contract is due to begin in June and complete at the end of September.
The successful candidate will be working on full life cycle builds (analysis, development, testing, enhancements and extensions) on a number of key web applications and web services.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the following:
- using Java to develop web enterprise applications - with Hibernate/Spring
- PL/SQL and database design
- Oracle databases
- AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML/XSLT
- RESTful Web services
- Continuous Integration
- Service Orientated Architecture (SOA)
- Unit Test Driven development
- Agile or Scrum environments
- Fluent English
