For our banking client in Luzern, we are looking for a Java Application Developer
Start: 26.05.2014
Duration: 1 year+
Location: Luzern
Languages: German and English
Scope of Work:
- Design and coding of complex components with JEE for an ordering and document output system (PDF, CSV, XML) with reports
- Design, configuration and enhancements of oracle databases
- MQ connections and web-service calls incl. configuration
- Performance analysis and optimization in JEE components
- Analyze and fix defects
Technical or Other Skills:
- At least 6 years hands-on experience in development of web applications with JEE
- Expert knowledge of EJB 3.1, JSF 2.1, JMS, JPA, JUnit, SQL, XML, Web-Services
- Knowledge of design patterns (may be with certification)
- Experience with Oracle DB, Linux/Unix Shell, Corba, Maven, Ant, Weblogic
- Experience with Eclipse IDE, SVN and Credit Suisse Java Application Platform (JAP)
- Experience with agile methodologies (scrum/iterative, JIRA, stories)
- German and English fluent (w/s)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Effective and solution oriented
- Team player
- Education: Bachelor Degree
