For a six month project at our client site in Zurich we are looking for a talentedPMO / Junior PM Banking (2014)
This is a job for a multi-tasker who enjoys variety and can handle changing job requirements. The primary responsibility of the PMO is to provide support in the areas of Project Management and ensure successful compliance to the quality process requirements. The project is part of Liquidity Management / Regulatory Reporting at our banking client in Zurich.
Responsibilities:
• Closely liaise with project managers and program managers and help projects to be compliant to the corporate solution delivery policies in regards to quality and project management requirements
• Identify areas for improvement, assist / implement improvement recommendations, and promote quality awareness.
• Prepare work products and documents for projects
• Perform project documents reviews to adhere to defined processes and help to implement processes through tailoring
• Assist project planning, estimation & tracking
• Assist Management reporting - project status reports, dashboards and tracking
• Assist project and program managers in the daily project life.
• Assist in logistics for the project
• Work closely with different teams that are spread across regions
Qualifications:
• Master / Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualifying experience
• 5+ years’ experience in the IT industry working in the areas of Project Management / Project Management Office
• Ability to multi-task, balancing daily activities with project related activities
• Very good understanding of agile solution delivery models
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, and deliver results within tight schedules
• German as a plus
