Randstad IT Professionals is actively looking for a Senior Solution Architect for one of our major clients, a renowned bank headquartered in Zurich.
The project belongs to the clients Business Intelligence PB & WM sup department.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Drives the further development of the current Business Intelligence Platform with following technologies:
- Oracle (DWH/Datamarts/PL/SQL)
- Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, MS-SQL)
- Microsoft C#/HTML 5/Silverlight (User interfaces, Web services, Portals)
- Strong engagement in finding appropriate solution architecture aligned with the business requirements and the IT guidelines/standards
- Lead of Business/IT Workshops and Meetings
- Recording of essential information and conclusions
- Understanding the E2E requirements and keeping the big picture across teams and projects
- Defining and reviewing concepts in the area of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse
- Creating and maintaining solution architecture documentations
- Cross platform, project and team collaboration
- Supporting project manager on planning and estimation exercises
- Consulting and coaching developers
- Developing of POC prototypes; investigate in new technologies and best practices
REQUIRES SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication, presentation and integration skills
- Deep understanding of complex and high secured environments
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar architect role
- More than 5 year of experience as a senior BI/DWH/SW developer
- Profound know how in the mentioned technologies with senior experience at least in Business Intelligence or DWH
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, dynamic and pressured environment
- Ability to work across an International team with experience in managing offshore topics
- Self-motivated and hands-on personality, comfortable with driving and managing change
- High analytical and strategic thinking
- Excellent team player
- Languages: English fluent, German basics
