Support Chain Support Specialist

Tasks:

Minimize exposure to risk of Supply Chain business activities by providing timely support.

Handle, analyse and solve level 3 incidents and tickets resolution related to Warehouse Management Systems and Supply Chain Systems.

Train the level 1 and 2 teams in order to avoid the re-occurrence of the incidents.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Driving root cause analysis and problem investigation.

Ensuring adequate communication of resolution activities by updating the corporate ticketing tool.

Ensuring adequate knowledge management of all resolution activities to ensure the greater re-use of resolution instructions based on known errors.

5-10 year experience in supporting Supply Chain systems in large multinational companies.

Prior experience in application support - Warehouse Management Systems - with knowledge of key support processes.

Requirements:

Very good Knowledge of SQL and Linux

Incident &problem management in a large organization, including incident management systems and tools.

ITIL V3 certification level of knowledge of Incident, Request & Problem Management.

Some knowledge of ERP business processes in supply chain and retail.

Excellent Communication skills- both in technical and business process terms.

Knowledge of Service Management tools such as HPSM.

Use of a requirements and release management system such as HP Quality Centre.

Able to manage and prioritize a large workload

Strong analytical skills in functional & technical areas.

Network knowledge would be a plus.
