For a global bank based here in Zürich we are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the team.
Specific core skills required for the contract:
- 5+ years of Java Server Side development /multi-threading know-how (no J2EE required)
- basic Sybase or DB experience
- some previous messaging experience is ideal
- Java web
- Requirements analysis, functional design
- domain knowledge of FX investment banking is seen as a plus
The Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions from small components, to entire applications, to owning the development of software solutions spanning multiple complex systems. The contract consultant will adhere to the established life cycle methodology and practices, in accordance to project plans while carrying out their responsibilities.
