For a six month project at our banking client in Zurich we are looking for immediate support in the form of aEnterprise Java / Oracle Database Developer (1926)
The project in brief:
• Analysis and Design of the application architecture and its components
• Creation and Documentation of the technical application design
• Implementation of the application components using Java
• Creation and Execution of JUnit Tests
• Participation in unit, integration and user acceptance testing
• Ensure that common standards, processes and tools are adopted across won deliverables
• Ensure the creation of adequate documentation
• High dedication to quality of his deliverables
The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications
• Bachelor / Master Degree, equal education or qualifying experience in Information Technology
• Expert in Software Engineering and Software Design
• Experience in building production ready software
• Java 6 knowledge
• Very good communication skills in German and English are required
• Very Good Java experience
• Oracle 10/11g experience
• SQL experience
• Hibernate / JPA experience
• Willingness to work in an agile project model together with 2 Business Analysts and 3 Developers using Kanban
• Java development with Eclipse under Windows for a Unix target system
• Shell scripting experience
• Knowledge and effective use of Maven and Ant
• Deep knowledge in Java Patterns and Anti-Patterns
• Oracle Business Intelligence experience as a plus
