For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a 2nd Level Application Supporter

Your responsibilities:
Provide professional 2nd Level Support (technical facing) for FID Applications, core and associated upstream/downstream applications. Work within max 8-person team providing office hours and on-call support. On-call rota would be 1 in 6 weeks. Work & liaise with 1st Level Support, 2nd level Investigations and 3rd Level Support/Development teams and associated Unix, Windows, Database and others as appropriate. Specific duties will be split between primary RTB work (above) and secondary CTB project work (preparation for production go-live, testing and preparation for deployments)

Your tasks:

  • 5+ years of production support experience of multiple high-profile applications within a large organisation ideally within a FID/FX trading environment
  • Understanding of basic business concepts within a bank trading environment (FID/FX products)
  • Unix/SQL querying & PLSQL (understanding)/Windows Server/Bash/Perl Scripting experience
  • Experience of acting as a senior support lead including team lead experience when required
  • English is a must
  • German language desirable but not required
