For a large scale customer project we are looking for aSenior BI Consultant/Service delivery manager
Your role includes the following tasks & duties:
• Support the Application delivery and Platform management teams for the client which involves more than 50+ projects for various internal and external customers developed and maintained by external suppliers
• Work for BI projects, with primary focus on overseeing ETL projects with design and architecture, planning, coordination, providing feedback on key design areas, performance tuning and optimization, application stabilization and maintenance.
• Plan application release management and product upgrades along with monthly releases for the Group solutions
• Perform impact analysis, implement POCs coordinated with suppliers during the up gradation phase. Manage the roll out plans to all involved customers (more than 200 users)
• Support projects in compliance to GSBI platform standards and processes
• Ensure timely resolution of tickets and interface between platform and wider customer teams
• Technical coordination between different suppliers and offshore teams
• Build the team, set-up and transform the existing support within 2nd and 3rd level IT support
• Set up, improve, challenge, negotiate, transform and manage existing SLA with suppliers
• Set-up KPIs and SLAs - define and improved scalable processes within this space
The required skillset is:
• Techno-Managerial background with the right mix of technology and managerial skills
• Demonstrated skills in SDLC life cycle and ITIL Methodology for developing and maintaining DWH solutions
• Prior experience of at least 5 years in managing Onsite-Offshore teams to deliver and support critical productive BI/DW projects
• Technical expertise in ETL tools such as Informatica versions 7,8 and 9, Teradata
• Certified with the BI toolset with focus on Informatica, Teradata and DB2
• Prior experience in planning and scheduling/priorities of project work
• Be able to support projects in HLD of their technical solutions and best practice
• Strong IT experience in an international/Global operating environment with client facing roles
• Strong stakeholder & vendor management skills
• Ability to operate in a complex global structure and proven success in influencing teams
• Proven ability to develop influential business partnering relationships
• Experience in managing arrangements with vendors particularly outsourced providers
• Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
• Excellent leadership and communication skills as well as a strong service mind-set and customer orientation
• Business fluent in English
• Hindi language skills would be beneficial
