Main Tasks
- Planning and monitoring the usage of databases
- Implementing, maintaining and operating distributed databases
- Monitoring the data integrity
- Executing database monitorings to processes, objects and reports
- Administrating database objects (table spaces, tables, indices, etc)
- Elaborating and executing database specific processes (security, reorganisation and restore)
- Troubleshooting measures in the operational environment of databases
- Carrying out repari actions on defective databases
- Establishing migration plans and executing migrations
Special Requirements
- hands- on experience with Microsoft SQL
- Experience with MySQL is a plus
- Miscrosoft Active Directory troubleshooting and operation experience is a must
- Hands-on experience with MS Windows 2003 and 2008
- Microsof Excel knowledge
- Hands-on experience parsing text/Excel files with regex, knowledge in related lagnguages is a plus (TCL, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Good coordination and project management skills is a must.
- Fluent in English is a must
