For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a

Requirements Engineer/Project Manager

We offer:

  • Lead of IT projects or streams in programs managing strategic and regulatory requirements; responsibilities range from conceptual design to deployment
  • Drive impact assessment and business model transformation related to regulatory or strategic developments across all business areas
  • Close collaboration with General Counsel, Sr. Management, IT and external providers
  • Elicit, analyze, develop and validate business requirements with IT and business stakeholders
  • Responsibility to achieve clear understanding of business goals and needs within context of business processes
  • Produce RE artifacts with appropriate level of granularity for relevant phases of business initiative
  • Obligation to review high-level design and test cases to ensure alignment with business requirements
  • Support Solution Architects, development and test roles during relevant project phases, as well as requirement alignment to release plan, business processes and the overall context around application and technical architecture
  • Translate requirements into models and specifications to reflect and confirm understanding of the requirements (functional and non-functional)

    You offer:

  • University degree or equivalent higher education in IT, business administration, economics, banking or finance; an additional education (PMP, BABOK) is an asset
  • Several years of work experience in IT project management and business analysis, preferably with a focus on banking or financial services
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and team members
  • Flexibility, leadership and personal excellence with strong conceptual, implementation, people and communication skills
  • Ideally experience with regulatory-driven transformation projects in the banking and financial services industry
  • Experience with Client Identification/Anti-Money Laundering applications preferred
  • Proven track record of min. five years experience in a related role such as PM, RE, BA or Software Engineer in the banking/finance sector
  • Sound knowledge in BE methodologies according to BABOK
  • Sound knowledge of PM methodologies according to PMP or other
  • Solid overall IT knowhow of concepts and processes related to banking IT
  • Strong analytic and communication skills, proactive approach, willingness to take decisions and presentations
  • Experience in applying various development project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative)
