Virtualisation and Storage Consultant - VMware, Cisco UCS, EMC
Inspire are looking for a Virtualisation and Storage Consultant (VMware, Cisco UCS, EMC) to work on site with one of our global technology clients in Switzerland to provide the following:
Onsite day to day administration and operation of the Vblock infrastructure
Vblock platform support services (troubleshooting, remediation, configuration, etc.) for the Vblock deployment
Best practices guidance on installation, setup, and operations of the Vblock infrastructure, creation of run-book
Provide on-site assistance with the planning for expansion of converged infrastructure
Knowledge transfer of Vblock technology
Assistance with operational transition to Customer operations team
Development of an operational run-book for the procedures required to operate and manage the Vblock platform that is specific to the Customer Vblock implementation
Required skills:
VCE Vblock V [one of]
Vmware vSphere/ESX virtualisation
Good working knowledge of Cisco networking (Nexus preferred)
Cisco UCS Blade Server
EMC storage (VNX)
EMC/Ionix UIM/P
