On behalf of our customer we are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Engineer with the following profile:Duties:
• Managing and developing the UNIX environment
• Development and maintenance of the platforms (Solaris, UNIX,Linux, AIX)
• Define and engineer Solaris standard operating environment
• Engineer standard operating environment for Redhat and Suse Linux
• Analyze problems and find optimal solutions
• Engineering, configuration and integration of technical applications and Services
• Ensures the compliance of the server environment with the Security
• Serve as a trusted technology consultant in various initiatives
Skills:
• Education within the IT area
• At least 5 years experience in operating systems, Unix Linux, SUSE, Red Hat
• Experience with Linux on VMware
• Very good knowledge of Solaris and AIX platforms
• Good analytical skills and quick comprehension
• Ability to work independently and good communication skills
• Fluency in English, German is an advantage
