My Zurich based client urgently requires a German and English speaking Database Consultant for an initial 6 month contract.
The main deliverables for this role are; Develop and Enhance the existing conceptual data model and/or application Business Object Model (BOM), specify data attributes from varied perspectives (business/technical), Evaluate existing Data Warehouse sources and identify the required data elements, Create end to end specifications, Define business rules for computed items and complex transformations.
Our ideal candidate will need to have previous experience working in a similar role, have exposure to the banking industry with a particular focus in the securities area; Data Analysis skills (SQL); Fluent written and spoken English; Fluent written and spoken German; Be an analytical thinker with strong troubleshooting skills.
An previous experience with any of the following will be regarded as highly desirable; exposure to Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence environments; ETL; Reporting/BI Tools.
