A leading firm in the expanding life sciences sector in Switzerland are searching for a manager of their Technical Documentation.The firm are a global leader in their field, and produce medicinal products that help millions of people around the world. They distribute their product in over 100 countries worldwide and also have a very strong pipeline for new products to be released onto the market in the next few years to come.
Due to expansion, they are searching for a Documentation Manager. This person will be responsible for the technical and personnel management of employees across the technical writing, change management and documentation teams. Working to GMP compliant processes, you will manage projects for both internal and external stakeholders and act as the point of contact for partners to the business.
The ideal candidate will possess several years in a leadership role, with proven experience in managing, training and developing large teams. You should be a technical editor or editorial director, and ideally would have worked in a life sciences environment across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology or medical devices. You should have good knowledge of the processes involved in the creation of documents, including MS Office, CAD, DMS and HTML, and finally you are required to speak both German and English.
