Connect44 have a new requirement in Bern, Switzerland for a major telecoms vendor as a SIM Technician.
The role is on an initial 6 month contract on an all inclusive rate. Candidates will need to fulfil the requirements below. Candidates will also need the use of their own veichle throughout the period of the contract, this can be your own or rented personally. Please see
SIM Technician
- Corrective and preventative actions on site infrastructure.
- Ensure health and safety on site during periodic checks.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Generate and sign Safe to Climb documentation periodically.
- Open Site defect report when needed.
- Deploy backup power in case of power outages.
- Support estates regarding site provider key changes.
- Subcontractor support A/C and infrastructure repairs.
Other information;
- English required, German an advantage (French not a requirement)
- Required to operate in Bern region
- Certification required for climbing (from Swiss H&S climbing company called Höhenarbeit AG) (Can be arranged prior to start date)
- Valid First Aid certificate
- Climbing equipment will be provided
- Candidates are responsible for supplying their own car, petrol costs and accommodation. rate is inclusive of expenses.
- SIM card to be provided
- Must have valid working permit for CH
- Required ASAP
