We are looking for a
Configuration Manager (m/f)
for a contracting project assignment in the Geneva region
Reference number:
Start of the project: ASAP
Project duration: 6 MM
Your Duties:
- Assist the development community in terms of branching strategy and branching training, organize and maintain a global code structure
- Build and release packages deliverables
- Inform the build community and the release management team about new versions to deploy and the actual versions per environment
- Provide to the build community a continuous integration system by defining rules and tools to automatically build, deploy and test, based on a predefined frequency
- Detect the causes of build failures and the deployment failure and facilitate the resolution by contacting the valid development team
- Communicate with the build community and the release management team and by benefiting of this central position share good practices across the build teams
Your Qualifications:
- Excellent Configuration Management/control experience in a multi-faceted IT environment with more than 25 developers
- Hands-on exposure to Jenkins, Maven, SVN Subversion, Shell Scripting and Jython Scripting in a large WebSphere, Java, J2EE, SQL environment
- Experience in integration of automated testing into build cycles with Selenium IDE, Cucumber, QTP or similar toolsets
- Web Development skills are an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Results-oriented and customer-focused with strong sense of ownership
- Ability to independently prioritize and execute the necessary tasks
