Make effective recommendations concerning SQL Server. Must be very good with Performance Tuning. Develop implementation plans for projects. Configure, install, and administer the SQL Server software. Diagnose issues with SQL Server and SQL software. Perform on-going monitoring, maintenance, and resolve SQL Server performance problems. Monitor database space usage, rebuild indexes, check the validity of database object and monitor the overall health of the system. Responsible for migrating objects to user databases. Monitor the system security by auditing and managing user access, SQL Server logins and database roles. Perform system auditing. Meet the uptime SLA. Responsible for backup and restore of both system and user databases. Perform sizing and capacity planning.
Qualifications
Must be able to do Performance Tuning. Responsible for documentation of system configuration, system log, system design, operational maintenance and disaster recovery plans. Maintain documentation on SQL Servers.
