Digital Media Consultant and UX Designer - Communication, content management, templates, Pharma
The project leverages digital media to improve communication with patients and investigators to address the critical business need of enhancing patient recruitment.
Tasks
- Develop overall communication and content plan
- What content is best communicated through which digital channel?
- Help map out social media strategy
- Create mockups of possible digital channels with focus on web sites
- Turn mockups into live prototypes and pilot deployments
- Apply customer style guides but also create innovative designs
- Create templates in Adobe CQ5
- Use customer-created scientific offline content (in word, ppt and pdf) to generate online content
- Upload to CQ5 instance provided by the customer

- Conceptual thinker with strong IT and design skills
- Able to quickly create effective communication material
- Very good knowledge of Adobe CS Tool Suite (Photoshop, Fireworks, FreeHand, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
- Familiar with web technologies such as HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS (with design background)
- Understanding of user experience and interaction design principles (IA, Flow Map, Interaction Patterns, etc.)
Domain expertise & past project experience
- 3+ years UX-experience in web and/or mobile environment
- Creating communication channels with difficult to reach, possibly small communities
- Communication of complex (scientific) content
- Social media experience
- Pharmaceutical R&D (nice-to-have)
Education
- Degree in computer science or Media-/Product-/Interaction-/Information Design, Media Communications, etc.
Languages
- English - fluent in writing and speaking
