Position goals:The Network, Telephony and Video team (NTaV) provide global infrastructure related services (e.g. WAN, LAN, Security Services, IP Telephony) for all 57 offices of a Swiss insurance company.
As part of NTaV, the Product Delivery Team is responsible for the services provided by the insurance company’s outsourcing partners. For service management the NTaV is the interface between the partners and the insurance service teams, thus, it contribute to promote service excellence for all customers. The candidate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the key accountabilities listed below.
Main tasks/activities:
The insurance company is looking for a candidate for the internal internet service with service management skills and in addition basic security knowledge too:
• Review tickets from internal users and pre-qualify them before they are forwarded to the provider (IP filtering on external web-page provider, citrix web-pages, certificate issues)
• Approve security related requests (e.g. web-pages blocked by policy) based on guidelines from the Information Security Team
• Set up the tickets in the provider's service management tool, follow up on status
• Process development and optimization
• Baseline existing processes, systems and support structures
• Determine process gaps and implement process improvements, where necessary drive move to common global processes
• Follow-up activities need to be done within the Network, Telephony and Video Team, following internal audits and Information Security Reviews
• Support the team in implementing the activities and track the status

• Strong analytical skills
• Proven problem solving skills with a solutions oriented mindset
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Relevant professional experience in customer / client facing roles
• Comfortable working in a multicultural environment and with multiple remote sites
• Assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands
• Effectively using organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and follow thru
• Maintaining an established work schedule
• English & German, fluent written and spoken
