For a project in Lausanne we are looking for a resource as a Perl and Python Developer
To develop bioinformatics pipelines to process raw data received from DNA sequencing machines and to create results files for further analysis by statisticians.
Main responsibilities:
Develop scripts Test against live system using test data Convert existing bioinformatics scripts to Python/Perl Work with bioinformaticiens to develop new pipelines based on their specification Debug/optimise solutions Required skills:
PERL and Python coding skills Agile/Scrum methodologies MongoDB MySQL data Results focused, service orientated, initiative and cooperative personality Understanding of bioinformatics and/or Life Sciences is a big plus Solid work history Fluent in English French knowledge would be an asset Are you interested in this position?
