The project aims at consolidating/clearing existing data centers in Basel and Rhine Valley, Switzerland into new and redundant facilities in Klybeck/Basel and Stein.
- Consolidation/clearance of existing data centers
- Migration of none-SAP infrastructure into new and redundant facilities
- Utilization of the new Virtual Hosting Environment VBLOCK.
We are seeking for an experienced Project Manager with focus on Demand Management for the GIS Strategic Programs 'DIAMOND' and 'SIRIUS' (Maturation/Extension Virtual Hosting Environment).
Anforderungen:
Main accountabilities are
1) Assess application portfolio and identify virtualization potential
2) Impact assessments for virtualizations to Vblock
3) Threshold tracking from migrations to virtualized environment i.e Vblock
4) Forecasting, benefit & charging tracking for the Vblock migrations
5) Managing prioritization across divisional demand in alignment with GEMINI Demand Redirection and Windows Lifecycle initiative
Skills requirements
1) Deep understanding of pharmaceutical business processes and applications
2) Good understanding of Novartis organizational structure
3) Good understanding of Novartis applications landscape
4) Good understanding of GxP Compliance requirements
5) Deep understanding of Windows Server and Linux Server Architecture
6) Good understanding of business application architectures
7) Basic understanding of virtualizations specifically VCE Vblock / VMWare vSphere
8) Excellent communication on all levels
