For one of our international, financial services clients in Zurich, Swisslinx is urgently seeking a local, German- or English-speaking Java SE 6 Developer to work on a Data Quality Application within a DWH environment.
In this initial 6 months contract, you'll be implementing requirements in an existing application, using Core Java (Java SE6) to integrate a standard software called IDQ.
Therefore, you will be providing technical analysis, technical specifications, design, implementation, testing, documentation and 3rd Level Support to ensure Data Quality.
In order to be considered for this contract, we are seeking an English- OR German-speaking candidate with the following key skills:
- Min. 3 years of development experience with Java SE (up to version 6.)
- Knowledge Logging Libraries, ideally Apache Log4J
- Knowledge of J2EE Application Servers, such as EJB 3.0
- Good understanding of backends, using JPA/JDBC and Oracle Databases
- Knowledge of XML connections and data output, using JAXB and Xalan
- Additionall experience with MQ, Eclipse and/or Power Designer are an additional plus
- Familiarity with OBPM is a nice-to-have
