Our multinational end client in Basel is now looking for an experienced Technical Writer who will join its team on their BMC SaaS implementation for developing and documenting project documentations (test plan, quality and validation plan, operations handbook).
An excellent level of English, both spoken and written is required.
We can offer you a first contract of 3 months with extensions on a long term basis.
THE ROLE:
Our ideal candidate should not only demonstrate proficiency in writing but also has a good understanding/experience in writing IT operations documentation and test plans.
Liaising, close collaboration and co-authoring with project members on documentation requirements is another important aspect.
YOU WILL:
*Review/update existing, develop new technical documentation
*Delivery of documentation as per the project targets
*Close collaboration with project teams and service owners
*Manage, track and report documentation progress to Project Manager(s)
*Manage, track and report documentation issues and risks to Project Manager(s)
YOUR PROFILE:
*Fluent in English - oral and written
*Excellent in technical English
*Excellent technical documentation skills
*Several years previous experience in writing technical documentation for complex software systems and service management
*Experience in ITIL and Business Analysis
*Pharma experience together with a good understanding of processes/organization etc. is a true asset
*Good understanding of GxP and 21CFR part 11 requirements, preferably in Pharma Industry
*Team work in a challenging IT environment
*Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment
*Good verbal communication skills
*Ability to translate complex concepts into user-friendly, clear, concise information for the end user
*Good illustration skills
*Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks
*Ability to deal with variable workload
*Ability to achieve goals and resolve issues
