Communication Manager - (large scale IT Infrastructure Program) - 3 months with possible extension
Role purpose:
To support the effective communication of a large, complex IT Infrastructure change program, designed to facilitate the delivery of a world class IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Working closely with the Head of the Global IT Infrastructure Communications, the program Leadership and key stakeholders to develop and facilitate the delivery of the communication strategy and communication plan supporting the program
- Identify stakeholders and analyze their communication needs
- Work with key stakeholders to articulate the key messages and what it means for IT and the client
- Develop and articulate key messages
- Produce core communications materials eg core positioning presentation, Q&As, email communications, Intranet articles, Town Hall presentations, storyboards etc
Experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing communications for large, complex IT projects - essential
- Educated to at least Bachelor degree level (or equivalent)
- Experienced in interacting with senior management
- 8+years plus PR/communications experience
Knowledge:
- Operating in large corporate environments, complex in structure, intercultural (preferred)
- Good and proven writing skills
- Crisis communication management
- Change management practice (preferred)
- Very good understanding of the strategic role of communications to affect positive transformation and achieve business objectives
- Fluent in English (incl writing), German (additional asset)
