Position: WEB ADMINISTRATOR (Web Application Server, Apache HTTP, Tomcat)
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Duration: 6 months contract

Minimum qualifications
- 3-5 years proven technical expertise in an IT role;
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering;
- Experience working with large diverse web application technologies (WebSphere Application Server, Apache HTTP, Tomcat);
- Candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, securing, and upgrading all web related tools and applications.
Role/Responsibilities
- Administer, install and maintain diverse and constantly changing web application environments;
- Work with support and development teams to resolve problems and incidents during the entire project life cycle;
- Work with project deliverables and milestones;
- Interface with third party vendors, project managers and developers to solve business/functional web problems;
- Transfer knowledge proactively to colleagues and clients;
Preferred qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of web and related technologies (HTTP, cookies/sessions, HTML, XML, JSON);
- Understanding of network identity management systems (SSO, LDAP, CA SiteMinder);
- Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, DMZ);
- Working ability with common Scripting/programming languages (one or more of Java, Shell Scripting, C, C++, Python, and JavaScript);
- Experience working on.nix OS environments (AIX, Solaris, RHEL);
- Strong knowledge of the project life cycle;
