Scope of WorkProject Management and Coordination for the Corebanking Project. Applications that are running on the Host are being migrated to the decentral Server Infrastructure. There are special requirements regarding stability, availabilit and support of this Corebanking Applications. This Role is placed in Operations, therefore a deep technical understandig of Infrastructure is needed.
Job Role
Core Tasks will be to understand requirements from the projects, support the "burn-in" phases, align processes, coordinate all kind of activities with several stakeholders and support teams (Databases, Network, Serveroperations) There are also new operational process requirements e.g. extended permissions handling or self service in the Test Environment
Drives proactively continuous improvement and provides solutions to improve stability and efficency in every aspect of the platform operations
Identify relevant stakeholders, analyse business, infrastructure and technology stacks, compile system and application landscape, understand standard components, understand variatons from existing running application to core banking applications and reflect from a operational viewpoint
Advanced technical knowledge in Transaction Cluster, Unix, WebLogic, Oracle and Networking • Define a common project plan, track project status and output for the CoreBanking Applications
Develop network and other hardware infrastructure to meet the on-going needs of the company in accordance with the IT strategic plan
Liaise with all areas of Technology Infrastructure Service in Zurich and other areas
Liaise with all areas of Technology Infrastructure Service worldwide and project stakeholders (e.g. application development, solution architecture)
Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, Program Directors and Business Partners in English
Must haves
Infrastruktur key knowhow:
- Oracle
- Network, Firewalls
- Unix permissions
- Unix, Transaction Cluster
- High-Availability Setups should be known.
- Certfikate handling Fluency in English
Hive to haves:
Project Management experience (high communicative skills)
