For my banking client based in Zürich we are currently looking for a
Lync Engineer to Technically support the whole Lync Environment for this bank.
Start: 01.03.13
End: 14.07.13
Location: Zürich
Language skills: English (German) good to have.
Microsoft Lync/Unified Communications Administrator is responsible for the operation, analysis, and implementation Microsoft Lync solutions in Operations. Typical responsibilities for this will include Microsoft Lync, Windows 2008 Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 and server virtualization deployments.
Good messaging skills in general are a must
Knowledge of technologies such as Blackberry, and mybobile (Good) are a plus.
Tasks:
- Technical support of whole Lync environment
- Administer/optimization whole Lync environment
- analysis of logs/reports
- Statistics gathering on regular basis
- Enhance Monitoring solution SCOM
- Key Contact to Engineering
- Ensure LYNC consistency with other regions (AMER/EMEA/APAC
- Act as Key contact on interregional conference calls
- Picket (on - call) during off-hours must be provided on regular basis
Experience:
- Must have strong technical LYNC (engineering) skills
- Must have Experience implementing unified communication such as Lync
- Must have Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory design, implementation and administration are required
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong networking/communication skills (Nice to have)
- Certification or excellent Knowledge of topics MCITP or MCTS, Microsoft Lync Server 2010 und Microsoft Server System (Nice to have)
- Good background in networking (Firewalls, Cisco Routers/Switches, network protocols, VPN)
Education:
- The following certifications are a plus: MCITP and/or MCSE
Programming languages:
- Power Shell (a plus)
Social skills:
- Strong networking/communication skills
- competent, persistent, self-employed
Language:
- English (must), German (verbal skills are a plus)
