On behalf of our client, an internationally successful biotech company located in Basel. In order to support on-going operations and project within the Windows Server Infrastructure.Are you looking for a challenging contract in a global institution which runs until the end of 2013?
In this role, you will be working in a global team of 10+ Windows System Admins, responsible for various configuration and administration tasks to support on-going projects and operations linked to our client's Windows server infrastructure (eg Hardware, OS). This also includes change management activities, implementations and post-installation activities, technical consulting for the users and resolution of software problems. Further more, you will participate in troubleshooting and migrations, prepare/present tech product information and documentations to the user, improve the overall system environment and services and other related tasks.
Your performance will be measured based on quality, time and cost of your activities, on the stability and performance of the system environment, as well as the level of best practice reached (price/performance, etc)
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking for an initiative, communicative and analytical individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the following qualifications:
- University Degree
- Min. 8 years of experience in Windows and/or Linux system administration in a global enterprise environment
- 5+ years of VMware ESX management experience
- Very strong Scripting skills in PowerShell, batch and Visual Basic (VB)
- Strong ability to handle complex technical issues
- Fluent English skills (written/spoken)
