Job description
Challenging Senior Business Project Manager position with high management attention in an international environment
Manages Stream Upstream Application Integration:
Responsible for overall delivery of Upstream Application Integration stream and all underlying sub-streams - in close collaboration with the Program Management
Leads - and if required coaches - it's Sub-streams (Swiss Upstream Integration, International Upstream Integration)
Co-ordinates across the functions and close collaboration with other Overall Stream Leads - impacted by the same tranche of work Creates, maintains and provides detailed stream plans to the Program Management
Highlights key dependencies between sub-streams and overall streams towards Program Management
Ensuring the underlying streams create the agreed deliverables (refer to sub-stream R&R for details) within the agreed time, cost, scope, and quality to achieve the defined program benefits
Delivers according to the agreed stream mandate, scope, work plan
Manages resource requirements - in close collaboration with Program Management
Manages stream specific stakeholders
Co-ordinates - and if required coaches - IT-related work with the IT-sub stream leads of the other supplier/provider systems
Ensures efficient and effective usage of resources, processes and tools within the program
Delivery responsibility for all relevant locations/entities/clients within scope of PB CH, PB International and IB
Prioritization of activities in close collaboration with the Program Management to ensure timely delivery of business critical functions, products, services
Understands what is required for successful IT delivery and ensures all pre-conditions and all input is provided by respective sub-streams before starting the next phase (stage containment)
Manages Payment Program suppliers across Releases:
Understands what is needed to successfully manage system providers
Manages communication book of work, tracks key milestones and coordinates and aligns work plans with individual teams (eg build, test) and manages external dependencies with other applications
Drives release decisions with program management, taking business priorities and resource constraints into consideration
Anticipates risks and issues and suggests timely, feasible solutions to address them
Follows the Banks quality guidelines and policies to avoid non compliances
Skill description
Bachelor or Master degree with an additional project management certificate
Excellent project management skills in combination with standard package delivery/integration
At least 8 - 10 years' work experience in project management in a financial services environment
Proven track record of successful delivery of complex projects with IT implementation features (strong focus on IT delivery)
Broad and deep perations systems and processes (background in private banking or investment banking - in particular the payments area would be an asset)
Excellent written and interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate effectively with various internal business and internal/external IT partners across different seniority levels
Capability to interpret and compile information in order to provide stakeholders and management with adequate information
Pro-active approach, strong planning and estimation capabilities
Fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
