Description
Carries out various methouds of testing including manual, batch and automated to ensure that all information systems products and
services meet minimum company standards and end user requirements. Tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
Documents and works to resolve problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to management.
May recommend improvements to current procedures. Performs work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
• Validate and communicate results of testing activities
• Works very closely with the development and quality teams to manage integration testing
• Work closely with Release Analysts
• Provide consultancy to project teams on testing
• Define integration testing strategy and processes
• Define processes required to setup, maintain and manage the testing environment
• Analyze test requirements
• Create / Review use cases, test script and test requirement document
• Define requirements for test environments
• Prioritize test activities within the team
• Create integration test plan
• Implement testing solutions
• Manage test execution and track defect reports
• Review releases and assign appropriate release testing tasks
• Compiles and Review the Testing Deliverables
• Conduct installation procedure tests
• Conduct functional testing
• Conduct performance testing
• Conduct integration testing
• Conduct user acceptance testing
• Conduct operational readiness testing
• Conduct back out testing
• Conduct supporting documentation review
• Compile test results
• Conduct release test review
• Conduct post release testing
