On behalf of a major Pharma client, Harvey Nash is urgently looking for a Quality Systems and Standards Specialist for a 12 months role in Basel (Switzerland).
Job purpose:
To develop and consistently implement Quality Standards governing the product development life cycle and ensure they adequately provide direction and build in quality for Investigational Medicinal Products.
Major Accountabilities:
Implement & manage the Quality Manual for the client's Technical Development Department and Development QA Prioritise Quality Standard development & implementation according to business & with the agreement of the key stake holders Support the development of appropriate Quality Standards governing the life cycle for development product in line with client's requirements, regulatory requirements/industry standards/best practices Align generated standards with existing process and ensure interfaces with other departments are well defined and aligned Ensure appropriate visibility of developed quality standards via means of regular communication and involvement with the user groups Maintain the established Quality Systems and Standards monthly communication letter Maintain established Quality Systems and Standards SharePoint site Ensure all plans, establish standard KPI, links, training materials and communications are kept up to date at all times. Requirements and skills/background:
Bachelor of Science in a discipline relevant to pharmaceutical or biological drug manufacture: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy; or appropriate education and experience in Pharma industry Minimum of 5 years in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control and/or Quality Systems & Compliance in a GMP regulated environment within the pharmaceutical industry Quality driven and analytical mind-set multinational experience is a must Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Strong organization and prioritization skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, PC literacy English fluent in speaking and writing. Project details:
Start: 07.01.2013 or as soon as possible, end is 31.12.2013 (approx. 12 months) no remote work option, normal working time is 40 working hours/5 days in the Basel office hourly rate, best offers considered for interviews. Interested and available to start immediately this challenging role in Basel?
